The ADS is committed to creating positive impact through various means. We conduct independent research to generate knowledge on energy and climate issues and use our findings to influence policies and priorities at the national level. Moreover, we believe that sustainable development requires addressing the root causes of poverty. Therefore, we conduct socio-economic research and development work to understand and tackle issues such as lack of access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. We also analyze how economic policies and social systems affect marginalized communities and work on innovative solutions to overcome these challenges.
Humanitarian Response

At ADS, we take pride in providing top-notch humanitarian response services to communities in need around the world. As climate change continues to cause more frequent and severe natural disasters, we recognize the importance of addressing the resulting humanitarian crises. From floods and hurricanes to wildfires and droughts, communities around the world are facing increasing risks and vulnerabilities. We are committed to supporting these communities by providing timely and effective humanitarian response services that prioritize climate resilience and adaptation. We work with local partners to help communities prepare for and mitigate the impact of climate-related disasters, and we provide essential relief and recovery such as providing food, water, shelter, and medical assistance. Our goal is to provide support and relief to those who need it most, when they need it most, with a focus on dignity, respect, and empowerment.

We work closely with policymakers, aid organizations, and international financial institutions to provide policy and strategic advice that benefits society and the environment. Additionally, we collaborate with reporters, editors, filmmakers, and social media content creators to increase public awareness about the impacts of fossil-fuel-based energy production and advocate for a transition to renewable energy. Through this engagement, we aim to initiate a media discourse on the urgent need for climate justice and highlight the shortcomings of government energy policies.
